Elites Chance
Theres a chance to get an elite if your female bunny still has its asterisk at 13-15 th nest. But is there a chance too for a female without asterisk to have an elite ?

Ozimals Manual says the chance to get an elite with asterisk is bigger, so there had to be a chance for normal bunnies too ?

Two of my normal Bunnie Pairs had their 13th Child today, and theres no elite.

Thanks

RE: Elites Chance
From what I can see there doesnt need to be a * but level 3 food helps the change during the last three generations...

Looking at the manual it says:
http://support.ozimals.com/index.php?_m=...&nav=0,3,4
Elite
Elites are rare bunnies with unique and unexpected coats. Elite bunnies are possible only on the 13th, 14th and 15th generations in the mother's breeding span. Eyes and fur on both parents must be recessive genes. Bunnies that are eating the Archetype food and still have the asterisk have a higher chance at getting an elite.

so both parents properly need to have none starter fur and non starter eyes.... and the female needs to be on the last three generations..

RE: Elites Chance
The nest will not say elite. Just like a mutant nest you need to kindle it to find out.

RE: Elites Chance
It was mentioned in chat group today... someone confirm this??? But that starter nest could be recessive bunnies. That the genetic hierarchy is only attained through a bit of research. Someone said "Candy confirmed elites can come from starter bunnies." That the bunny being a starter didn't mean it's fur is one of the more dominant of the dominants or something to that effect.

Can we get an official confirmation of this confirmation? LOL There seems to be a lot of people relying on this alone to try for elites.

RE: Elites Chance
I'm very very confused. I keep seeing "the manual says only parents with coats and eyes recessive can have elites" then I see "Candy says even starter bunnies can have elites." And around and around again. Which one is it?

RE: Elites Chance
I seem to remember Neo also saying "can't confirm or deny" Elites can come from starter pack bunnies .

RE: Elites Chance
"[15:26] Ozimals Team Member: If you can figure out what traits are not found in first gen nests, you can figure out what the recessive traits are." THis was also confirmed by Candy in group chat at a later date.

RE: Elites Chance
Huh
Lol if you guys think you confused then heaven knows what I am. Reading through what people have said about recessive genes has given me a headache!! But one thing I noticed is that the general concensus would be that my two bunnies could not have and "Elite" even if i feed them the super dooper special food. A female Holland-Lop Black white, upright Dark pink eyes with Radiant fur and a Male Havanna-Black, half lop, light green with silky fur. Not from Starter nest bought froma friend.

RE: Elites Chance
Here's what I'm thinking.

Take any two bunnies. No matter if they are starter or not. If you take 2 bunnies, breed them and that bunny comes out COMPLETELY different than the parents...boom you just found a recessive bunny. But if you take the same 2 and all you are getting is another bunny like the mother or father...try again you found Dominant Bunnies. This is how you are going to see which ones have recessive traits or dominant ones. It's all trial and error at this point. (This is how it was explained to me)
